We have a cat, a simple ginger cat. Like all pet owners, we love him like family. When we found out at adoption he has existing kidney conditions, we took time to research and try to find him organic food and products that will help him with extra fighting chance. He's still doing well after years of life-long chronic conditions.

Cat mint sticks. These are minty barks (different from human mint) for cats to play with and chew on. A great alternative to plastic toys.
Homemade chicken gravy with oats
When we make chicken fajitas at home, using chicken breast, we try to save a few good pieces for Cheeto our ginger cat. Chopped up fine, cooked in oats and its own fresh juice. We serve it up cold. Keep fresh in frozen zip toc bags or mini mason jars. Thaw thoroughly in fridge and bring to room temperature before feeding the cat. You can also add a bit of your cat's favorite food. The chicken can be bland.
Wheat grass that works for humans as well as cats
Safeway and Whole Foods has wheat grass in the grocery section. These are not pure cat grass. These are human edible grass also found in acai healthy food packets and diet in packets options. I trim the top for humans, blend and serve as a smoothie. I save the other ones for the cat to chew and nibble on. It's great for bring out the hair balls and for digestion and passing solids.
You can also mixed a bit fresh chopped ones in the above mentioned chicken breast
